Qi Gong & Tai Chi Class

(Yang Style 24 Form)

This class hasn't started yet. I am waiting until more participants join. It will either be on Thursday evenings at 5pm or on Friday mornings at 11:00 am in Lake Magdalene, Florida (North Tampa). If you have a preference, please contact me and let me know. Address will be sent to interested participants. Ages 8 and up are welcome.

 

Collin is proficient in the ancient techniques and exercise of Qi Gong and the timeless martial art of Tai Chi (Yang Style 24 Form), having studied under Acupuncture Physician, Doctor of Oriental Medicine, and Certified Qi Gong Instructor Justin Fontanini D.O.M., A.P.. Together, Qi Gong and Tai Chi have been called "meditation in motion". The goals of Collin's classes will be to help us relax and slow down, release stress, improve breathing, improve balance, foster harmony, community, and mental well-being, enhance our flow of chi, gather energy from the earth, and empower a person to defend themselves in the case of an attack (Collin won't put as much emphasis on the fighting aspect, rather, he will emphasize the fluid, calming, beautiful motion of tai chi, but some classes will go into it more).

The class will consist of 20 minutes of Qi Gong, Stretching, and Tai Chi Walking, then 30 minutes of Tai Chi. It will be done outside on the grass. We have the options of sun or shade for the class. If you wish to participate, either pick a suggested donation below so I know, or contact me. Donations are not mandatory, just suggested.
