ASCtheology or ASCtheism are terms I invented to reveal that one of the roots of all religion is the study of and/or practice/induction of Altered States of Consciousness by ancient cultures to experience God. There are many methods to induce altered states of consciousness. Among these include such methods as meditation, pharmacological/ethnobotanical, acoustic, pathological, electrical, breathwork, fasting, etc.
In this brief article I will focus on pharmacological and acoustic methods....

The Tabernacle of Exodus is a glorified hot box.
The Acacia tree and the Akashic Records may be etymologically related.
The anointing oil may have contained cannabis. Kings and priests were initiated into their position with anointing oil that may have got them high.
It may be that the Bible is a psychoactive or entheogenic text.
The pineal gland produces golden colored DMT. DMT is the strongest hallucinogen/most psychoactive substance known to man and has been dubbed "the spirit molecule". It expands awareness, creating a holistic, altered state of consciousness and mystical/spiritual experience among its users. It is an entheogen - it literally makes a person feel like they have become God, hence, hallucinogens are our direct outlet to plug into God or "Christ consciousness". It could be that the biblical story of Christ is just an allegory for drug induced states and near death experiences. DMT is produced in high levels 4 times in a person's life: 49 days after conception when the pineal gland is formed, around the time that the soul is thought to enter the body, at birth, at death, and in dream states. Is it a coincidence that the Tibetan Book of the Dead states that after a person dies, the soul traverses the otherworld or "bardo" for 49 days before its next reincarnation/rebirth? DMT is the principle psychoactive compound in Ayahuasca, an Amazonian brew using the vine of Banisteriopsis Caapi and the leaves of Psychotria viridis which can be translated to "vine of souls", "vine of spirits", "vine of death", and has been called "the little death". Is it a coincidence that a word that means to be god-like is the word di-vine? DMT is present in many varieties of Acacia, some of which grow in the holy land and has been mentioned in the Torah/Bible as "shittim", which comes from a word meaning "nonsense". The Ark of the Covenant was built out of it and it surrounds the life experiences of Moses, from his seemingly psychotropic vision of the burning bush to examples of synaesthesia in Exodus. In Leviticus, the Lord instructed Moses to have his brother Aaron to make a fire with coals made allegedly from acacia and burn incense upon it as part of a ritual to attone for the sins of the children of Israel. Acacia was held sacred to the Egyptians. The god Osiris and other Egyptian pharaohs were born out of the Acacia tree and it was called the "Tree of Life" by the Egyptians. The Acacia tree is one of the highest orders of symbolism in free masonry as well. One other possible Biblical entheogen is calamus, which in Aramaic is Kaneh-bosm. Kaneh-bosm is believed to be cannabis. Cannabis could, therefore, be one of the ingredients listed to make an anointing oil in Exodus 30:23. It is significant that DMT, serotonin, and psilocin are almost molecularly identical to each other. The pineal gland also produces melatonin a hormone that also regulates sleep (and thus dream states where DMT is activated), reduces stress, supports the immune system, and is a powerful antioxidant. The pineal gland is literally the 3rd eye in the body as it has a lens and rods and cones (photoreceptors) like the body's other eyes. It is evident that it is an important organ due to the fact that, for its size, it receives more blood flow than any other organ.
After all the variety of study, syncretizing, and synergizing I have now undertaken on the history of and naturotheological interpretations of Christianity, it has become apparent to me, that - Christianity is the war on drugs, the war on Jews, the war on nature, the war on the body, and the war on Eastern consciousness by elites so that they can maintain money, power, control, sloth, possessions, delusional self-aggrandizement, and the illusion of freedom for themselves, nothing more. We have lost real religion. All it ever was was nature and/or the natural induction of altered states of consciousness.Now that most natural plant hallucinogens are illegal, we have lost freedom over our own consciousness and the access to real spirituality/religion. It's a bit oxymoronic, ironic, or paradoxical, I'm not sure what the right word is here, that probably the most die hard converts to Christianity are the drug addicts, the sex addicts, the alcoholics, or other such addicts. These people are giving up the real nature gods (the drugs) for the modern, personified, fraudulent ones. Little did they know, they were already God and already had access to God (illegally, mind you), had they only selected the right drugs and were able to moderate their use. Christianity is primarily useful to those who are incapable of controlling or balancing their carnal appetites on their own, so they need someone else or some other rules or some belief system to do it for them. Basically, only the worst, most messed up, weak willed people are the most serious, dogmatic converts. No conversion is needed if you're a healthy, good, positive, harmonious, righteous, well-intentioned, compassionate, well-informed person. Christianity is for the ignorant and the unwell.
